New Practices
If you are setting up a new architectural or interior design practice and have limited experience, we can help you to get started straight away.
How We Can Help
We can cover as much as you need to get you started on the road to running a successful architectural practice. Our outsourcing services cover all aspects of design, production of information and even submission of applications. This means that in theory, somebody with absolutely no architectural experience could set-up a company, with us providing a complete back-office solution. As part of this process we can also assist with the initial set-up and putting your organisational structure in place, advising on general business matters as well as templates, protocols and technical compliance.
For those who are trained, we can take - on single tasks or whole packages of work, using your existing drawing & document templates and styles. With our wide range of freelancers, we can also work with the appropriate software to suit your requirements.

1 Surveys / as existing drawings
Smaller domestic or interior projects don't always warrant the cost of a full professional measured building survey and it is come practice to do this yourself with a hand-held laser. This can be time-consuming, particularly if the project is not that near to you it can involve a lot of wasted travel time. We have many freelancers who have stated they can do this work, including a couple who specifically specialise in this and nothing else. Handing-over this repetitive and time-consuming activity really helps free-up your time to focus on the 'value-add' activities instead.
2 Planning/Design Drawings
We can help produce the designs and drawings necessary for the 'planning' stage applications- either based on your sketch designs... or if you want, we can even do this for you. With the owners extensive experience (30+ years) he is able to ensure the drawings meet the necessary criteria and give you and your client the best possible chance of a successful outcome.
3 Building Regs / Technical Drawings
With a range of architects, assistants and technicians, we have a team ready and able to tackle even the most complex of technical drawing packages. For smaller domestic projects this will generally be relatively simple, General Arrangement Plans, Sections & Elevations but we can also produce full tender and construction packages if required.
4 Schedules & Specifications
As part of the detailed drawing package we can also prepare schedules and specifications to assist in the tendering and construction process.
5 Reports (DAS/Planning Statements etc.)
We can undertake initial planning research into past applications and relevant policies and then prepare planning statements or design and access statements to support the relevant applications. We have a planning consultant on board who can assist with policy research in particular and we can offer guidance on the best approach in order to achieve maximum returns for your clients.
6 3D Visuals
Many of our freelancers can produce 3D visuals, using a variety of softwares and these could be used as a design tool, to assit with planning applications or final sales and presentations.
7 Conservation / Heritage
For applications and work in relation to historic buildings (listed or in Conservation Areas), we can help in the preparation of heritage assessments, recording historic building features and advising on suitable alterations that will be acceptable to the local authorities. We can also prepare large scale details where listed building consent conditions may dictate.
